All of these come from IP addresses in Nigeria or the U.K.

 

Typically, the scam works like this: The scammer sets up a bait in the way of an attractive apartment rental, or they contact someone who’s posted an ad looking for a flat.

They then send a form to be filled out (see below), after which they tell you that in order to secure your reservation you need to wire money upfront.

They say they’ll arrange to send you the keys or have somone meet you, but of course that never happens!
