Toronto apartment I am suspicious of on 25 Wellesley Avenue. One bedroom condo, $600.00, owner from western Africa. My son was searching and received a very personal email. Western Africa was the key suspicion for me as well as the very personal email which included the subject very grateful to have someone take over this lease.

Marcos Guiza is a craigslist scammer – he will attempt to buy your goods, send you an overnighted check from a falst bank account that is thousands of dollars MORE than what you asked for. then he wants you to send him teh change – 100.00 plus themoney for your item. he will say his secretary made the mistake.
he will say that his representitive will come by to pick up the item after you send him the tracking and money order info for the CHANGE he wanted back ( Thousands of dollars ) your bank will not tell you the money is not real till much later and you will be robbed of thousands of dollars.
Old scam, i suggest you let him send the check – it costs him about 20 dollars every time. then never cash it. jusy keep it or take it to the police. if enough of do this to all the scammers they will have to quit!

Hi…I’m very glad that the item is still available, thanks for the prompt response and i will love to make an instant purchase, so please and please do withdraw the posting from Craigslist, i dont mind adding an extra $50.00 for you to take the posting down from craigslist so that i can be rest assured that am in hand of the item. I will also like you to know that i will be paying via check, and it will be over night payment due to the distance. You dont need to bother yourself with the shipment ok, i will do take care of that. So i will need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check.
1. Your full name
2. Your mailing address be it residential or postal address
3. Your Phone Number.
Once again, I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping…i will have my mover come over as soon as you have cashed the check. Thanks

This guy calls himself John Marc-
He wanted 4 pieces of furniture- which added up to 2300- not 1950- HE CAN’T EVEN DO SIMPLE MATH FOR HIS SCAM!!!
The payment would be sent by Fedex courier company and the item will
be picked up as soon as you receive my payment,I will wait for the
payment to get cashed before l will send my mover for the pick up.I
will like to tell you that i would be sending check worth of $1950 to
cover the moving of the item and the money for the item.As soon as the
payment reaches you, have it cashed and remove your money for the item
and send the remaining fund to my mover via western union money
transfer. My mover is also picking some of my other items up for me so
that is why i need to give the moving company that amount.I will like
you to remove $50 for your running around in getting the payment
cashed. Please let me know if i can trust you on this so we can move

Hmm, sounds like the same “John Marc” that contacted me (his e-mail address is ‘next4next at gmail dot com’ ….
My Craigslist ad said that the furniture was $350. He then “accidentally” sent a check for $1,350 … Then said to wire the difference to someone named Jason Elder in Portland, Oregon (and guess what, the check I received had a return address of Jason Elder from Portland, OR on the envelope!). The check itself though was supposedly from the National Association of Broadcasters (huh?). Man, a scam if I ever saw one! Here’s the text from his e-mail:
Hi,
l will like to inform you that the check will get deliver in few
hours time. Here is the Ups tracking number….J228 891 7100.But there
is a little problem which l believe you can help me out. There was a
mistake with the amount on the check that was issued, a check worth of
$1350 to cover the moving of my other items and the money for the item
with you.As soon as the payment reaches you, have it cashed and remove
your money for the item and send the remaining fund to the mover via
western union money transfer. My mover is also picking some of my
other items up for me, so that is why i need to give the moving
company that amount.I will like you to remove $60 for the
inconvenience l may l cause you.Am an honest person and l believe you
are an honest person as well. Here is the the information you will wire
the excess fund too….
Name..Jason Elder
Address..Portland OR,97206
Pls as soon as you wire the excess fund.l will need the following
information from you….
Sender’s name and Address
Actual amount sent
Money transfer control number(MTCN)
Remember to deduct the western union fee from the excess fund. Thanks
so much for your assistant

Hi,
Am interested .Thanks
John

Any time I notice such poor punctuation, spacing or spelling I am a little cautious. I typed in the e-mail address, next4next11 “at” gmail.com, turned up this website and I was convinced that this was a scammer. I just want to post this in hopes that other people will look up their potential buyers to see if they are scammers. I would avoid John Marc / next4next11@gmail.com at all costs. Don’t even respond to his e-mails, as that could give him 2 or more of the crucial information scammers are looking for.
Good luck to all the honest people out there.

Scammer- Christian Bergman
Hi,
Thanks for taking a part of your time and visiting my ad 2001 Honda Accord EX .
I sell it at this price ($2,800) due to a change in circumstances of health I have had sciatica for 6 months and it impossible for me to drive it.I am also financially strapped due to medical bills, and in rapid need of this sale. This car is in excellent working conditions, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title. The car has 54,000 miles. This car may be purchased with money back guarantee. In summary you are permitted to buy and drive this car for 5 days or 500 miles. If you don’t want the car, you can return it to me for a full money refund! From the begining you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer ebay.
It is simple and is great for both parties so that any lack of trust is eliminated. I will wait your answer(if you are interested to buy) very soon.
Have a better than expected day!
